Problem
Radio reception is poor
There is interference on the radio
reception whenever the Center is
near my PC
Such interference happens to most
built-in tuner products
Some WADM functions cannot be
used
I edited ID3 tags in WADM, but the
screen does not show the updated
ID3 tags.What shall I do?
Backup function cannot work
anymore
I have problem installing WADM or
after installation, I cannot launch
WADM
I see the message "Check the
internet setup for Gracenote online"
even though I am sure that the
WAC3500 is connected to my home
wireless network with internet
connection.
18.Troubleshooting
Solution
✔ If the signal is too weak, adjust the antenna or
connect an external antenna for better recep-
tion.
✔ Increase the distance between the set and your
TV or VCR.
✔ Install the supplied FM wire antenna for better
reception.
✔ Keep the Center at least 1 meter away from
your PC.
✔ Your anti-virus software might affect the run-
ning of the WADM.Turn off your anti-virus
software temporarily.
✔ Go to File > Refresh Content to refresh
the WADM.
✔ Restart WADM.
✔ This is because the previously backed up file
was deleted in Windows Explorer. Never
delete the file this way. If you want to delete
the back up file, please use WADM to manage.
If the backup file is accidently deleted, please
find out the file named YOURMAC.inx by using
your Explorer's search tool and then delete it.
Only after that you can do backup again.
✔ Please make sure your Operating System is
either Windows 2000 with service pack 4 and
above, or Windows XP.
✔ Please check if your PC has virus.
✔ Please go to Menu > Settings > Network
> Internet to check if your DNS server is
correctly set up. Also make sure that you have
set up proxy server if your home wireless net-
work needs a proxy server for internet con-
nection.
✔ There is a chance that you are already success-
fully connected to Gracenote online, but your
CD is not in their database.
