Before being able to use a new fob it must first be registered with the AP-WRC4 base unit. Fob
registration is a simple process and only takes a few minutes to do.
Equipment needed:
2 x CR2016 lithium batteries for each fob
Phillips screwdriver to remove cover from AP-WRC4
(optional) small flat blade screwdriver
Steps:
1. Fobs are shipped without batteries, so first install two CR2016 batteries in the new fob.
2.
Remove the 4 x screws from the front cover of the AP-WRC4 base unit as shown in Figure 1.
3.
Locate the white button on the small receiver circuit board which is standing up from the main
circuit board on the left side (see Figure 2 for button location). The pushbutton faces the wall of
the case.
