Phone settings (Menu 4-2)

Language

You can select in which language the display texts are shown.
If
Automatic
is selected, the phone will set the language according
to the information on the SIM card.
This setting also determines which characters are available when
you store a name or write a text message.

Cell info display

You can set the phone to indicate when it is used in a cellular
network based on Micro Cellular Network (MCN) technology
(network service). In such a network, local calls may cost less than
otherwise.

Welcome note

You can create a short message which pops up on the display when
the phone is switched on.

Network selection

You can set the phone to automatically select one of the cellular
networks available in your area (default setting), or you may select
the desired network manually from a list of networks.
When selecting the network manually, the selected network must
have a roaming agreement with your home network (i.e. operator
whose SIM card is in the phone). Otherwise the text
No access
is
displayed.
The phone will stay in manual mode until you select the automatic
mode or insert another SIM card in the phone.
