    Introduction Introduction This Getting Started Guide is designed to help you get your HydraRADIUS unit(s) up and running for the first time and configured for the most basic setup: load balancing among three back-end RADIUS servers. Figure 1 illustrates this basic setup.

    Testing Your Connectivity Testing Your Connectivity Now that you have configured your HydraRADIUS unit(s), make sure that you can establish communication with key devices on the network before you “bootstrap” Unit 2 in to the “Virtual” Hydra for Hot Spare functionality. If a communication problem exists, this will make it easier to pinpoint exactly where the problem lies.
