TO CLEAN
Caution: Unplug from electrical outlet before cleaning.
NEVER IMMERSE BODY OF APPLIANCE IN WATER.
• Remove cooled grids from unit before cleaning.
• If batter splits and sticks to grids, remove the grids and soak in
warm water before attempting to clean.
• Wash grids thoroughly in clean, sudsy water to prevent grease
buildup on non-stick surfaces. Automatic dishwashers are not
recommended for cleaning grids.
• Remove stubborn stains with a plastic mesh puff or pad. For best
results use only products stating they are safe for cleaning non-
stick surfaces. DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL OR COARSE
SCOURING PADS.
• The exterior finish should be cleaned with
a soft damp cloth or mild cleanser.
TO STORE
The appliance is designed to stand on its
hinge end for convenient storage. Store
bookshelf style so the unit requires only a
5-inch wide shelf area. Take care to support
sides if stored on overhead shelf.

QUICK SERVICE INFORMATION
Any servicing requiring disassembly other than the above cleaning
should be performed by an authorized service representative. Consult
your yellow pages under Electric Appliances—Small-Repairing" for
your nearest Toastmaster authorized service center.
If an authorized service center is not available locally, your appliance
may be returned prepaid to our National Service Center at the address
on the back of this booklet.
Products must be adequately protected to avoid shipping damage for
repair or replacement at your option. Please include a note explaining
the problem you have experienced This helps us to properly service
your product and speed its return to you. Product must be returned
postage prepaid. We suggest you insure your appliance.
