1 When the amp is on, this LED is lit. When
it's off, the LED is off. Simple as that.
PROTECTION
Gjallarhorn includes internal protection
against over-current, over-temperature, and
excessive DC.
If Gjallarhorn clicks and mutes, it has gone
into protection mode. Gjallarhorn's protection
will reset automatically in a few seconds.
Check the following:
Are speaker cables shorted? Shorted cables
will cause Gjallarhorn to go into protection.

Is there a speaker problem? Sometimes,
speakers can short internally. Check with a
voltmeter or try a different pair of speakers.
Are you using low-impedance, inefficient
speakers? Gjallarhorn may protect with very
low impedance or inefficient speakers.
Are you listening very loudly? Gjallarhorn is a
capable amplifier, but it's best on the desktop
or in a small room. If you need a ton of power,
Vidar is a better choice.
