Swissvoice Xtra Handset 8155 Quick User Guide

CONNECTING YOUR PHONE

Connect plug in corresponding socket in the charger. Insert power plug in an electrical outlet.
Insert batteries in handset.
Before you start to use your telephone, charge batteries continuously for 15hours.
Only use plug adaptor supplied with the unit and rechargeable battery pack with your phone.

REGISTRATION

(Max. 3 handsets can be registered to the same base unit)

  1. Make sure the handset is out of the charger and shows ASSOCIER before you begin registration.
  2. Press and hold on the telephone base of Swissvoice Xtra 2155 (right handset side) or Xtra 3155 (left handset side) in idle mode for around 5 seconds.
  3. Red LED light bar on either base will be on.
  4. Press on handset for registration. The handset displays ASSOCIAT.. It takes max. 90 seconds to complete the registration process. (X represents the registered handset number assigned automatically).
  5. When registration completes, the telephone base will emit confirmation beep, and Red LED light on either base will be off.

If registration fails, the handset displays ECHEC, and then returns to the Idle screen.
Pls. repeat the above procedure.

TROUBLESHOOTING

As a general rule, if a problem occurs, remove the batteries from all handsets for about 1 minute, then disconnect and reconnect the power supply to the base and reinstall the handset batteries.

SAFETY

This telephone is not designed for Emergency Calls when the main power fails.
Do not use your telephone to notify a gas leak or other potential explosion hazard.
Do not open your device or its power supply to avoid risk of electrical shock. Do not attempt to open the batteries, as they contain hazardous chemical substances.
Your telephone must be located in a dry place away from hot, humid and direct sunlight condition. To avoid radio signal interference, place the phone at least 1 meter away from other electrical appliances or other phones.

ENVIRONMENT
