PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS

Recharging the battery: insert the charging cable (9) into any USB port and connect it to the Micro-USB charging port (7) on the de- vice. The red LED (4) will light up while the battery charges and will turn off when charging is complete.
Phone pairing: with the device off, press and hold down the MF button (1) until the blue LED (4) flashes quickly (takes about 5 seconds).
Release the button. Now, follow the instructions on your mobile phone to search for the device. Your mobile phone will detect TYPHOON. If the phone asks for a PIN, enter "0000".
When pairing is complete, the blue LED (4) will light up steadily. If pairing is unsuccessful, turn the device off and try again.

if the device or mobile phone has been turned off or placed out of range, to pair them again, it may be necessary to access the mobile phone menu or simply press the MF button (1) as if you were answering a call.
To turn the device ON: hold down the MF button (1) until the blue LED (4) turns on (approx. 3 seconds).
To turn the device OFF: hold down the multifunction button (1) for around 3 seconds.
Pairing using NFC: Turn on the NFC on your phone and move TYPHOON close to the NFC sensor (5). Bluetooth® on the phone will automatically be turned on, and the phone will ask you to connect to the device.

TWS FUNCTION

If you have two TYPHOON speakers, it is possible to enable listen- ing to music in stereo.
To connect the two TYPHOON speakers to the same phone:

  • turn on the two speakers and briefly press the TWS button (6) on one of the speakers. Once they have been paired, the LED on one of the speakers will start to flash while the other will remain lit.
  • Turn on Bluetooth® on the phone and select TYPHOON after it has been detected. When pairing is complete, the LED (4) will light up steadily.

To disconnect the TWS connection: briefly hold down the TWS button (6) for 2 seconds.

PLAYING MUSIC

With phones featuring an A2DP stereo profile, music can be played by using the controls on the unit.
Play/Pause: press the MF button (1)
FF: press and hold down the FF / Volume + button (2)
Rew: press and hold down the Rew/ Volume - button (3)
Volume adjustment: press the + volume or - volume buttons (2-3) briefly to increase or decrease the volume

HANDLING CALLS

To answer a call: press the multifunction button (1) briefly.
To end a call: press the multifunction button (1) briefly.
Volume adjustment: press the + volume or - volume buttons (2-3) briefly to increase or decrease the volume
Flat battery indicator: the LED (4) flashes red when the battery is flat.
