Replacing the air filter unit

Filter prevents dust from accumulating on the optical elements inside the
projector. Should the filter become clogged with dust particles, it will reduce
cooling fans' effectiveness and may result in internal heat buildup and adversely
affect the life of the projector. If a "Filter warning" icon appears on the screen,
replace the filter immediately.
Replacement of the air

filter unit
1) Remove the air filter unit.
Turn over the projector. Place
z
the latch in the OPEN position
and pull out the filter (bottom) in
the arrow direction.
2) Replace the air filter unit.
Put new filter back into the
z
position. Make sure that the
filter is fully inserted to the
projector, and place back the
latch in the LOCK position.
3) Resetting the Filter Counter
Be sure to reset the [Filter
z
counter] after replacing the
filter.
