OPERATION
To recall a preset frequency:
 Press the PRESET button and quickly release to cycle
through stored frequencies.
STREAMING AUDIO USING A BLUETOOTH
ENABLED DEVICE (NOT INCLUDED)
See Figures 2 - 3, page 10.
 Press the " " button to enter BLUETOOTH
NOTE: The radio will automatically attempt to connect
to the last device it was paired to. If no device has been
previously paired, "bt" will automatically begin blinking
in the LCD display.
 Set your device to search/scan for available BLUETOOTH
signals, then select "R84089 JOBSITE RADIO" from the
list. No password or PIN is required for connection.
 When the device has successfully paired with the radio,
you will hear an audible tone and "bt" will stop blinking
in the LCD display.
NOTE: If the radio does not pair with your device, turn
the power to the radio off, wait 5 seconds, then turn the
power back on and start the pairing process again.
 When streaming audio from a BLUETOOTH
device, press the arrow buttons on the radio to go to the
previous or next track. Press the PRESET button to cycle
between pausing and playing the audio.
NOTE: These controls may not be supported by the
BLUETOOTH
device and/or streaming application you

are using.

 To disconnect the current device to allow connection to
another BLUETOOTH

dedicated charging port to begin charging the device.
NOTE: The USB dedicated charging port provides power
only; it does not provide any communication capabilities.

 When the radio is operating on battery power, the USB
dedicated charging port will continue to function for ap-
proximately 1 hour after turning the radio OFF. If the radio
remains inactive after this time, charging will stop. Turn
the radio on to resume operation.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use
clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
