2. Attach the Apron
Align the frame columns with the locations marked, and screw them to the framing.
Measure the distance between the inside edges of the two frame columns at both the top and
bottom. This dimension must be 1/4" (6 mm) to 3/8" (1 cm) wider than the frame. If not, the frame
column shimming should be adjusted in or out as needed.
After adjusting the shimming, verify that the frame columns are still plumb.
Slide the channel under the frame columns until it rests snugly against the front of both frame
columns.
Secure the two ends of the channel to the floor.
Using a straight edge, align the center portion of the channel with the channel ends.
Secure the center portion of the channel to the floor.
Locate the two wood blocks on each end of the unfinished side of the panel. Install a clip at each of
the pre-drilled locations using the screws provided. Make sure the clips are aligned vertically.
Attach the bracket assembly to the back side of the panel at the pre-drilled pilot holes locations
using the four screws provided.
