TrueLife FitScale W5 BT Manual

Introduction

TrueLife FitScale W5 BT wireless scales measure body weight by bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA). This technology combined with BIA is used to measure body fat and composition in order to obtain its data. The scales are for home use only.

• In order to achieve consistent and accurate results, the scales should be used at the same time each day and, if possible, under approximately the same conditions. Avoid use under the following circumstances:

1. During or immediately after a physical workout
2. Immediately after a shower, bath or sauna
3. After the consummation of alcohol
4. During or immediately after eating
5. When affected by a fever

• The unit of measurement can be altered from kilograms (kg) to pounds (lb.) in the mobile application. This will also alter measurements of height and distance (meters/feet).
• Ensure the scales are placed on a flat surface or on a solid mat. Reset the scales before their use. They should initially indicate 0.0 kg.

• To measure body fat and other parameters correctly: Stand upright on the scales with both legs parallel. They will automatically switch on when the surface is pressed. Stand upright and barefooted. The weight of socks will ensure inaccurate results. Even dirty feet can affect accurate measurement.

Possible complications

Installing the application and measuring

To measure all body proportions, such as subcutaneous fat, connect FitScale to your mobile phone or tablet. This can be achieved by connecting TrueLife FitScale W5 BT to your mobile phone via Bluetooth. The easiest way to obtain the mobile app is to download it from Appstore/Google Play or by scanning the QR code on the box or manual. Follow the steps below to install:

1. Downloading the application

   Scan the QR Code or download the "Megafit" application in Apple Store/Google Play.

   Stand on the scales. They will automatically switch on when the surface is pressed.
