Getting Started with Your GeoSnap Pro
1. Installing the GeoSnap Pro
1. Slide the GeoSnap hotshoe
module onto the hotshoe of
the camera and tighten
down lock by twisting the
ring clockwise
2. Plug in the GPS antenna
then rotate the cable under
the strain relief. Note: mount
the GPS antenna with the
top facing up and with a
clear view of the sky. See
reverse side of this card for
ground plane
recommendation.
3. Plug the hardwire trigger
cable into the hotshoe
module and the camera.

2. Setting up the CONFIG file
1. Insert the GeoSnap µSD card into a computer
2. Open the CONFIG file (using Notepad), make
the following changes, and save the CONFIG file
For Bench Testing
@2: File_name = camera dependent
@3: Trigger_mode = 1
@4: Trigger_time_sec = 2
@7: Control_mode = 4
For Flight Operations (with distance triggering)
@2: File_name = camera dependent
@3: Trigger_mode = 2
@5: Trigger_dist_m = flight plan dependent
@7: Control_mode = 0
@20: Antenna_offset_m = installation dependent
3. Replace the card in the GeoSnap before
powering it on
