MAINTENANCE SERVICES THAT DISPLAY IN CBS –

BMW i4 AND iX

VEHICLE CHECK

Maintenance work:
Z Check operation of horn, headlight flasher and hazard warning flashers.
Z Check instrument and control lighting and heater/air-conditioning blower.
Z Check lighting system: Turn signals, back-up, license plate, interior (incl.
map, reading lights), glovebox, luggage area lights.
Z Check windshield wiper and washer jet positions.
Z Replace battery in remote control key unit.
Z Tires: Check tread depth, wear pattern, outer condition, inflation pressure.
If necessary, correct pressure.
Z Reset Tire Pressure Monitor.
Z Check the tire settings in the Central Information Display. Reset if needed.
Z Visually inspect all SRS airbag units for torn covers, obvious damage or
attachment of stickers.
Z Rear-view mirrors.
Z Windshield washer and intensive cleaning systems: Check protection level,
fluid level; top off if necessary.
Z Check the Flexible Fast Charger cable for damage (cuts, breakage,
deformation), corrosion and wear.
Z Check the HV charge port for damage (bent, pushed-in, or broken pins, etc.).
Z Brake system connections and lines: Check for leaks, damage and correct
positioning.
Z Underbody, incl. all visible parts (i.e. transmission, drive axles):
Check for damage, leaks and corrosion.
Z Steering components: Check for clearance, leaks, damage and wear.
Check tie rods to wheel carriers for wear.
