SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
2. When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water
presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off.
3. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying
the bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.
4. Avoid contact between the appliance's hot surfaces and the face or neck.
5. Make sure that the air inlet and outlet are not blocked while the hair dryer is in use.
6. Do not wrap the power cord around the dryer.
7. Make sure that the hair dryer has cooled before putting it away.
8.
WARNING: Do not use the hair dryer in the bath, shower, or near the washbasin or other
containers that contain water or liquids.
9. WARNING: Do not use this appliance near water.
10. Do not place the hair dryer where it may come into contact with water or other liquids.
11. The hazard remains even when the dryer is off. Therefore, unplug from the mains after use.
12. Do not try to insert any object in the dryer's openings.
13. Do not use the hair dryer if the power cord is damaged. It must be replaced by the
manufacturer, the aftermarket service or by a qualified person in order to prevent any risk of
an accident.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR THE POWER CORD
1. Never pull on the power cord or appliance.
2. To plug in, hold the plug firmly and push it into the socket.
3. To unplug, hold the plug and pull it out from the socket.
4. Each time before use, inspect the power cord for nicks and/or scuff marks. If you see any, the
appliance should be inspected. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or by a qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
5. Never wrap the power cord tightly around the appliance. This could lead to excessive strain on
the power cord where it enters the appliance and cause rubbing and breakages.
DO NOT USE THE APPLIANCE IF THE POWER CORD SHOWS ANY SIGN OF DAMAGE
OR THE APPLIANCE MALFUNCTIONS, OPERATES IRREGULARLY OR DOES NOT
OPERATE AT ALL.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. The top button selects the air temperature: cold, hot or very hot.
2. The bottom button turns the hair dryer on or off and selects the fan speed: low or high.
