  • Page 14 Installation Most vehicles have the mirror mounted directly onto the glass; therefore improper tools or techniques used in the installation could result in a damaged or broken windshield. Rydeen is not responsible for damages to windshield caused by installation processes.

    5. Rydeen GPS Configurations Operation Mode When MN312R is started the first time, you need to select whether to start the program in Simple mode or in Advanced mode. The two operating modes of MN312R mainly differ in the menu structure and the number of available features.

    Device System Settings Startup screen: the Navigation Menu After selecting Simple mode, the Navigation menu will appear. From here you can reach other selections of the MN312R. The Navigation menu contains the following options: to specify an address as your destination.

    Device System Settings Navigating to an address In the Navigation menu, tap By default, MN312R proposes the country/state and settlement where you are. If needed, tap the button with the name of the country/state, and select a different one from the list.

    Device System Settings Map screen The most important and often used screen of MN312R is the Map screen. The map looks similar to a conventional road-map. The blue arrow represents your current position, and the orange line shows the recommended route.

    Device System Settings Language Settings This screen lets you select the language to be used for system screen displays. Brightness (Backlight) Settings This screen lets you determine the brightness of the screen.

Select “Audible Touch Tones” to able/disable the “click” sound. When you receive a call on a phone that is connected to the mirror unit via Bluetooth, you also will see a pop-up graphic on the mirror unit screen, accompanied by the number of the calling party (if Caller ID is enabled).
