Setting Up the Optical Disc Drive with an AC Power
Source (Wall Outlet)
WARNING: Do not push on the top of the drive or place heavy
objects on top of the drive. Continuous pressure or the weight
of heavy objects on top of the drive can interfere with drive
operation and can damage the drive.
To power your Optical Disc Drive (ODD) using the AC Power Adapter and
USB plug:
1. Plug the DC power connector into the DC power jack on the
drive, and then plug the AC Adapter into an AC wall outlet.
2. Plug the USB mini-B connector into the USB mini-B port on
the back of the drive.
3. Plug the USB Type A connector into a USB port on the Tablet
®
PC, Motion
®
4. Microsoft Windows
drive and installs the driver.
