1.1 BrailleNote Touch Plus: Adjust Braille Settings
To set the Braille code and grade on the device, you

need to configure the Language Profile.
Press SPACEBAR + O to open the Options menu.
To navigate to and select Configure Language
Profiles, use first letter navigation "C," or navigate

using the NEXT thumb key, then press ENTER or a
cursor routing key.
Select Primary Language Profile or the language

profile you wish to configure by pressing ENTER or a
cursor routing key.

Press SPACEBAR + O to open the Options menu.
  • Page 2 To navigate to and select Preferred Braille Grade for Entry, use first letter navigation, press “P.” By default, the setting should be set to “Literary braille.” The other option is for computer braille. If you’re fine with “Literary braille,” do nothing. To configure this setting, press ENTER.
  • Page 3 In Canada, the braille standard is to use the contracted UEB code. This setting is listed as “English UEB Duxbury grade 2.” To quickly navigate to and select “English UEB Duxbury grade 2”, use first letter navigation, press “E.” Then tab to your selection using the Next Next button and press ENTER to select the braille grade for entry.
