1. DESCRIPTION
MCF-LW06232 uses the RS232 serial port to send and receive data through the LoRaWAN™ platform. The
device has a proprietary mcf88 protocol (available on request). MCF-LW06232 is a Lora Alliance certified
product.
2. CONNECTION OF THE DEVICE
Connect the RS232 cable to the Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) to be connected the LoRaWAN™ network.
3. POWER-ON OF THE DEVICE
The device switches-on as it's powered by one of the following:
✓ Using the USB interface, by connecting a USB Host or a USB power supply with USB micro B
terminal;
✓ using the AUX connector:
➢ RED wire: positive power supply (range 10-36Vdc)
➢ BLACK wire: negative power supply (ground)
✓ connecting the RS232 cable to a live RS232 port.
