The unit consists of a single-sided, SMT technology PCB, 90mm x 63mm, which incorporates a standard 4600 series encoder and a Scantronic 04689UK-50 transmitter. There are three types of input terminals, each with a positive (+ ve), Ground (Gnd) and an input connection (A,B,C) for convenience. -

GENERAL DATA Some background data on the 4600 series signalling format will help you understand the more complex functions. The code sent by the transmitter is a 12 bit data frame repeated for approximately 1.5 seconds. To indicate a low battery, the transmission time is extended to approx. - Page 5 If a connection is made from input A to Gnd, the transmitter will send 12 site/unit code bits read directly from the DIL switches. If buttons B & D are replaced by two diodes and one button (B), the option functions as a nursecall with button B being the cancel button.
