WARNING: An AIS Diver Beacon is only intended for short range signalling to an AIS
receiver installed onboard your own vessel. It will not directly alert the emergency services.
WARNING: This equipment is not intended for routine tracking of persons or property. This
includes tracking of divers.
WARNING: If self-test is performed more frequently than once a month, then battery life
may be reduced.

3. Installation

The TB-520D can be easily hooked on the diving
vest with the extensible cable or put in your pocket
during the dive. The device can be water resistant
for a depth of 100m.

We thank you for the purchase of your new TB-520D, AIS Diver beacon. It
greatly enhances the chance of adrift diver to be recovered by alerting nearby
vessels equipped with AIS.
TB-520D is built with state-of-the-art technology. It is buoyant and water-resis-
tant for 100 meters. The built-in high-sensitivity GPS receiver enables GPS
positioning within one minute. It is small and lightweight, easy to use and
totally reliable to keep your journey safe and sound.

4. Activating your TB-520D

Manual activation:
1) Pull o the red antenna cap to release the antenna.
Caution:
when deploying
antenna, be careful
in its spring action
to avoid eye injury.
2) Pull the activation tab o the TB-520D and the device will start transmitting
alert messages immediately.
