4. Holding the NIC by the edges, remove it from its shipping package and place it on an antistatic surface. 5. Check the NIC for signs of damage, particularly on the PCB edge connector. Caution: Never attempt to install a damaged NIC card. If the NIC is damaged, report it to Lantronix. 6. Remove the OptiPlex Side Cover. See Removing the Side Cover below. -
