CHANGHE FREEDOM SERVICE MANUAL ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM THE FUNCTION OF COOLING SYSTEM Coolant flows through hoses and radiator, and it is forced to cycle to cool engine. Water pump uses large-capacity centrifuge. Radiator is tube-belt, heat from which radiates is very high. Thermostat is wax type, and expands when heated and contracts when cooled.

CHANGHE FREEDOM SERVICE MANUAL ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM 2. COOLANT RESERVOIR TANK A "see-through" plastic reservoir tank is connected to the radiator by a hose. As the vehicle is driven, the coolant is heated and expands. The portion of the coolant displaced by this expansion flows from the radiator into the reservoir tank.
