TO SET THE CONTRAST

Press and hold the MODE button 1 until the
Settings menu appears in the display. Scroll to
Contrast using the
then press the PLAY/PAUSE ®p button 4 to
select it; the Contrast setting will appear.
TO SET THE BACKLIGHT

Press and hold the MODE button 1 until the
Settings menu appears in the display. Scroll to
Backlight using the
button then press the PLAY/PAUSE ®p button
4 to select it; the Backlight setting will appear.

Set the desired contrast using the
Skip/Search o 1 or n 2 button. Press the
MODE button

to exit the menus.

Scroll using the
select a desired backlight setting (Always Off, 5
seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds or Always On).
This is the time the backlight will be lit before
turning off when no buttons are pressed. Select
Always Off and the backlight will not light. Press
the MODE button 3 twice or wait a few seconds
to exit the menus.
