3. Click "OK" to confirm the message.
 View in the Viewer changes to the Test View.
If the temperature of the liquid and sensor is stable, the message "The
temperature is steady. Start sensor testing?" appears after approx. three minutes.
4. Click "OK" to confirm the message.
 The sensor test begins.
The test result appears in the form of a test report after a few seconds.
5. Click "OK" to save the test report as an image file (.bmp) on the computer.
 The "Enter path of file(s)" window appears.
6. Select the path and file name for saving the .bmp file.
7. Click the "OK" button to confirm.
 The Viewer saves the test report.
8. Check the test report. If the test values are outside the tolerance range, the sensor
may need to be adjusted. In such cases, please contact your Endress+Hauser sales
organization. Permitted deviations: speed of sound: ± ≤ 0.5 m/s and density: ± ≤
3.0 kg/m

Resetting the measuring device to factory default
settings
The entire device configuration can be reset to the as-delivered state with the Restore
factory settings function.
Concentration apps, recipes and application packages are not affected by the reset to
factory settings.
12.7.1

Restoring factory settings via transmitter with touch screen

1. Select Settings menu → "Application parameters".
2. Tap the "Factory settings" function. If the "Factory settings" menu item is not visible on
the touch screen, scroll down using the scroll bar.
 Screen starts counting down from 10 to 0. At the end of the countdown, user-
specific device settings are reset to the factory settings.
12.7.2

Restoring factory settings via the Viewer

1. Open the menu "Teqwave Transmitter" → "Restore factory settings".
 A message is displayed.
2. Click "OK" to confirm the message.
 The Viewer resets the user-specific device settings to the factory settings.
12.8

Device information

The nameplate contains device information. The Settings menu on the local display
(transmitter with touch screen) and the Version function in the "Teqwave Viewer"
operating tool contain additional information.
