- Page 4 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (MON) MON/TX The monitor function is high impedance which SWITCH enables the telephone line to be monitored without interfering with information present on the line. T ransmit mode (TIC) is the same as "off-hook" on a conventional telephone. LO/MF This switch allows selection of dialling mode.
