Direct Connection Connect the reader/writer by inserting the Type A connector directly into your system's USB port. Connect Using the Included USB Cable Connect the USB cable to your system's USB port. This USB cable has two different connectors. Only one connector fits your system's USB port.

At the Add New Hardware Wizard, click Cancel. Restart the computer if this doesn't appear and start the software installation again. Insert the Driver CD. Autorun should start, if not, click Start, then Run. Click Browse, choose your CD-ROM drive, double click Autorun.exe, and click OK.
