- Page 2 QUICK OPERATION MANUAL INTRODUCTION. The benchtop Color-Eye 2145 and benchtop Color-Eye 2180 are spectrophotometers that measure reflectance at every 10 nm from 360nm to 750nm. The Color-Eye 2145 uses 45/0 illumination geometry. The Color-Eye 2180 uses sphere illumination geometry. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS...
- Page 3 1. Connect the power cord and communications cabling. 2. Power ON the unit. 3. Set up and run the GretagMacbeth software program that you want to use. 4. Color-Eye 2180 users only: Select the desired specular component configuration. 5. Place the calibration tile with its white side facing the unit so that it completely covers the viewport opening.
