• The IDF-2 shall be installed such that it is at least 7.5' above the floor. • The IDF-2 is to be mounted on a suspended ceiling system (24” x 24”) that can fully support it's weight (11.5 lbs). • For non drop ceilings use the ceiling box mount.

2. Insert the IDF-2 diagonally through the opening and place gently onto the 2’ x 2’ ceiling frame. 3. Slide the adjacent ceiling tile away to allow easy access to the terminal block.
4. Remove the terminal block cover with a Philips-head screwdriver. Wiring 1. GPS recommends the IDF-2 be connected to a switched power source such as a lighting circuit. 3. If wiring to a non-switched circuit a means of removing power is required.
Cleaning and Maintenance 1. Support the diffuser with one hand while removing the difuser cap (turn counter clockwise). Once removed use a clean cloth to wipe the diffuser (highlighted in blue). 2. Use a clean cloth to wipe the area highlighted in blue (shown in the figure below).

3. Remove the bottom housing for access to the fan blades. Use a Philips-head screwdriver and remove the screw located on the side of the fan. Remove 4 thumb screws located on each corner of the fan by rotating counter clockwise. 4.
