Controls the Marantz DV9500 DVD player and provides true feedback
This module provides all controls for the Marantz DV9500 DVD player. It also
provides true feedback.
There are three layers of feedback. It is possible turn on and off any combination of
these layers. This module provides commands to do this.
NOTE: THE DV9500 SHIPS FROM THE FACTORY WITH ECONOMY MODE ENABLED. IF
YOU DO NOT DISABLE ECONOMY MODE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TURN THE
DV9500 ON USING RS232.

YOU MUST DISABLE THE ECONOMY MODE. THERE IS A COMMAND ON THIS
MODULE TO DO THAT. YOU MUST FIRST TURN THE DV9500 ON MANUALLY. THEN
YOU NEED TO PULSE THE ECONOMY MODE DISABLE INPUT.

  • Page 4 Pulse to set the DVD player to IR code 1 or IR code 2. Pulse to enable or disable the ECONOMY mode. ECONOMY MODE MUST BE ENABLED TO ALLOW THE CRESTRON PROCESSOR TO TURN THE DV9500 Pulse to set the auto status mode.
  • Page 5 Analog value indicating the current title number. LAYER 2 FEEDBACK. Analog value indicating the current group. High to indicate the current state of the brightness of the DV9500’s front panel. LAYER 2 FEEDBACK. High to indicate the current sacd mode. LAYER 2 FEEDBACK.
