Quick guide to the installation of the
HDMCS series compatc weather stations
The guide outlines the installation of the HDMCS100 and HDMCS200 weather stations. The station
starts storing and sending data to "www.deltaohm.cloud" Cloud as soon as it is powered.
For a detailed description of the operation of the sensors and data logger, carefully read the
corresponding user manuals and the instructions of the HD35AP-S software.

Mounting the tripod

• Open the HD2005.20 tripod by turning the three legs.
• Secure the legs to the central block of the tripod.The inclination of the legs can be adjusted
using the various holes available.
• Adjust the height of the legs and tighten the locking screw.
• Secure the tripod firmly. The flanges of the tripod can be fixed on a floor with screws or
on the ground with pegs.

Unpacking

Remove the packaging of the various parts of the
system (acquisition
accessories). Handle all components of the system, in
particular the sensors, with due care to avoid
damaging.

Lightning rod installation

• Fix a horizontal mast to the upper part of the
tripod central mast (leaving the space to insert
the HD52.3D... sensor).
• Fix the lightning rod, with the pointed tip up, to
the end of the horizontal mast. The lightning rod
must be sufficiently distant (70 cm approx.) from
the tripod central mast in order not to interfere
with the anemometric measurement.
• Connect the lightning rod to the grounding rod
(not supplied) with a 4 AWG cable (not supplied).
