Similarly to other high quality devices, proper operation and maintenance will ensure high durability and reliability of the product. Please read the following instruction and save it for future reference as it contains essential information on safe operation and use.

SAFETY

  • Never use the electric wires to carry the charger or to pull it out of the wall socket.
  • Connect the 230V AC power pack of the charger directly to the electric socket without the use of an extension cord.
  • Do not use the charger if damaged. Damaged power pack or leads must be immediately replaced.
  • Never attempt to repair the flashlight or charging leads on your own. The repair must be carried out by a qualified serviceman.
  • Use only original battery packs recommended by the manufacturer.
  • The battery must not be disposed of in fire, even if damaged or completely drained, as it may explode when thrown into fire. Operate the battery pack with care, never allow short circuit to occur.
  • Minor electrolyte leakages from the battery cells may occur if the battery is used under extreme load or at extreme temperatures. Such leakage does not indicate a damage to the batteries. However, should the cells become no longer leak-proof, please avoid any direct skin contact with the leakage. Please wash your contaminated skin immediately with soap water should such contact occur.

FLASHLIGHT OPERATION

The flashlight has 5 operating modes: 5%, 20%, 50%, 100%, STROBE To switch the flashlight on, press the magnetic switch in the back. The flashlight will start in 5% mode. Pressing the switch more times will cycle the modes, until the flashlight is switched off. After switching the flashlight off and then on, the unit will start in the last selected operating mode (except for the stroboscope mode).

Strobe

  1. The function does not apply to the stroboscope mode.
  2. The stroboscope mode is activated by depressing the back switch longer (2 seconds). The stroboscope may be activated this way even if the flashlight is off.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

Battery Installation

  1. Open the cap .
  2. Insert 1pc 3.7V 18650 Li-ion rechargeable battery .
  3. Replace end cap back on.

BATTERY LIFE INDICATOR

When not using power bank function:

Red LED ON – Medium Power

Red LED FLASHING – Low Power Warning. Recharge the battery or replace a charged battery as soon as possible.

When using power bank function:

Green LED ON – High Power

Red LED ON – Medium Power

Red LED FLASHING – Low Power Warning. Power bank function turns off automatically. Recharge the battery or replace a charged battery as soon as possible.

Last Setting Memory

When the headlamp is switched on, the memory function resumes the last operational mode.

CHARGING

When the handheld becomes noticeably dim, switch off the unit and recharge the battery as soon as possible.

Charging

  1. Slide down end cap .
  2. Connect the cable directly to the Micro USB socket .
  3. Connect the USB plug to the USB socket (PC, laptop) or a 230 V AC / 12 V DC adapter to connect it to a mains socket or a car's socket, respectively .

Tactical Switch

The flashlight is equipped with a tactical switch for easy use. .

The width of the light beam is adjusted by sliding the head of the flashlight .

Power Bank

  1. Slide down end cap.
  2. Connect your electronic device (e.g. smartphone, iPhone, PMP, etc.) to the handheld, with an appropriate USB cable plugging to the Output Port.
  3. Recharge works in process and handheld turns to low brightness level automatically.

Note: Red LED indicator flashes implying battery capacity is low. Power bank function turns off automatically.

Unless authorized by Mactronic in writing, any modifications and user attempts at home repairs will automatically void the warranty.

Mactronic covers the camping lantern with a 2-year warranty for any manufactured defects in material and/or workmanship. The warranty does not cover normal use, rust, unauthorized modifications, improper storage, damage from falls, improper handling, corrosion from leaking batteries and use of the flashlight contrary to its intended purpose.
