3 . C H E C K T H E W A T E R S U P P LY
 Water supply meets local plumbing codes.
 Water shutoff in base cabinet, as shown,
or accessible area.
 Access hole through the cabinet is within 1/2"
(1.3 cm) of the rear wall.
 Install any additional tubing only where
temperatures remain above freezing.
Check for leaks.
 Not using a piercing-type or 3/16" (4.8 mm)
saddle valve. See refrigerator dealer for
saddle-type valve kit that complies with
local plumbing codes.
 If water pressure to reverse osmosis system
is less than 40 to 60 psi (276 to 414 kPa):
• Check sediment filter to see if it is blocked.
Replace filter if necessary.
• Allow the storage tank to refill after
heavy usage.
• Remove the water filter cartridge.
No filter bypass is necessary.
IF DEDICATED WATERLINES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR EACH COLUMN
INSTALLED, IT IS PERMISSIBLE TO SPLIT 1 WATER LINE - 2 OR 3 WAYS
DEPENDING ON NUMBER OF COLUMNS INSTALLED.
