Initial opening and emergency
opening
When you want to open the safety deposit
box for the fi rst time, fi rst release the control
panel (2) on the front on the door (7). Press
the release button (5) and turn the control
panel anticlockwise so that the keyhole
behind the control panel is accessible. Insert
one of the keys supplied into the keyhole
and turn it a quarter turn anticlockwise. Turn
the handle (6) clockwise and open the safety
deposit box. Remove the key and replace the
control panel.
WARNING! Do not leave the keys inside the
safety deposit box! Safety deposit boxes
are produced in batches at the factory, and
therefore there is no way of replacing keys.

Inserting and replacing the battery

Once you have released the control panel,
insert a 9 V battery to open the safety deposit
box with a code. Replace the control panel.
WARNING! Take care not to damage the
safety deposit box's wiring when changing
the battery.
After installing a new battery, the code must
be reprogrammed.
When the battery is running low, the red and
green indicator lights come on at the same
time when you have entered the correct
code. Ensure that the battery is replaced as
soon as possible.
Opening the box using the code
1. The standard code is set to 159# at the
factory.
However, we recommend that you
set your own personal code. See
"Programming the code".
Open the safety deposit box using the
factory preset code by entering 1-5-9-#.
The yellow indicator light fl ashes 3 times
and 3 beeps will sound, after which the
green indicator light will come on. If both
the green and red indicator lights are lit,
you must replace the battery as soon as
possible.
Once the entered code has been
approved, you have 5 seconds to turn the
handle (6) clockwise and open the door
(7) before it relocks automatically.
2. If you enter an incorrect code, the red
indicator light fl ashes 5 times and 5
beeps are heard. If you enter the wrong
code 3 times, the keypad is blocked for
20 seconds. If you enter the wrong code
3 more times, the keypad is blocked for 5
minutes.
3. Close the door and turn the handle as
far as possible anticlockwise to lock the
safety deposit box again. The door may
be closed no earlier than 6 seconds after
the code has been entered.
