  • Page 7 6. Connecting the modules The Heckert Solar solar modules are equipped with Original MC4 connectors (Stäubli – MultiContact) Only connectors in accordance with DIN EN 62852 (VDE 0126-300) may be used. In addition, only connectors from the same manufacturer may be plugged together.
  • Page 8 Please note that it is imperative to avoid tensile force on the connection cables. Please note that only the manufacturer’s connectors may be connected. Even “compatible” connectors can loosen the connection and cause an electric arc. This is especially important to consider when using power optimizers! Any change in the connector socket can lead to the warranty being rendered null and void, and therefore may only be carried out by trained and skilled personnel.
