  • Page 3 INSTALLATION 1. On all models twist the directors until the plastic brackets snap into place as shown. 2. On 44- and 52-Element models connect the two halves of the boom together using the two brackets, screw and wingnut, as shown above. 3.

(The mast must not extend above the cradle) On 32-element models attach the aerial to the mast as shown below: If the transmitter is horizontally polarised (most main transmitters are horizontally polarised) mount as shown in the left picture.
  • Page 6 6. On all models connect the coaxial cable as shown using 75 W low-loss coaxial cable. Never use 50 coax, Ω or any other type of screened cable, as this will result in a loss of signal. 7. Enhanced waterproofing can be achieved by putting a small amount of silicone or petroleum jelly around the lid of the connection box before assembling.
