You can press the hotkeys directly or in combination with the Fn key to access settings quickly. Some
hotkeys share keys with functions keys (F1 to F12). You can change hotkey modes in the Lenovo setup
utility.

Enable or disable the Always on USB function

For some Lenovo computers that come with the Always on USB connectors, you can enable or disable the
Always-on function in the Lenovo setup utility.
Step 1.
Start the Lenovo setup utility.
In the Lenovo setup utility, select Configuration ➙ Always On USB and press Enter. Then, select

Notes: When the computer is working on battery power and you need to charge devices through the Always
On USB connector even when the computer is turned off or in sleep mode, do the following:
1. Start the Lenovo setup utility.
2. In the Lenovo setup utility, select Configuration ➙ Always On USB and press Enter. Then, select
Enabled.
3. Select the Charge in Battery Mode to Enabled. The option Charge in Battery Mode is supported only
when Always On USB is enabled.
