WARNING To minimize risk of severe injury or death, the filter and/or pump should not be subjected to the piping system pressurization test. Local codes may require the pool piping system to be subjected to a pressure test. These requirements are generally not intended to apply to the pool equipment, such as filters or pumps.

Do not use this pump for wading pools, shallow pools, or spas containing bottom drains, unless pump is connected to at least two (2) functioning suction outlets. WARNING Pump suction is hazardous and can trap and drown or disembowel bathers. Do not use or operate swimming pools, spas, or hot tubs if a suction outlet cover is missing, broken, or loose.

GENERAL The PZ200 Filtrite by Hurlcon Pump is a unique 2 speed motor combined with an energy efficient pump wet end. When installed and plumbed correctly, the PZ200 will significantly reduce operating costs, lower noise levels and reduce greenhouse emissions.

OPERATION Switch on power to pump, motor to start. If some flow of water does not establish within on half minute, switch off and prime pump again. If pump does not prime within 3 attempts, check all suction connections for sealing. If these are satisfactory, a check or foot valve is required to hold water for prime.
SELECTION OF APPROPRIATE SPEEDS General Rules: The total volume of water in your pool should be turned over at least once a day. If operating for longer periods of time, you may be able to turn the output of your salt chlorinator to a lower level. Check your chlorine level frequently to ensure you do not over or under chlorinate your swimming pool.
USE WITH SUCTION CLEANERS When connecting a suction cleaner to the PZ200, it essential that full prime is achieved on the pump prior to connecting the cleaner hose. Consequently, for all Products used at such sites the warranty period is 1 year instead of the periods set out above. Fluidra, may, however, in its absolute discretion, consider extending the 1 year warranty period for FILTRITE PZ200 PUMP used at particular sites because of actual usage patterns. Any such extension shall only be binding if Fluidra gives it expressly in writing.

Product or whether warranty service will be provided in the field, repaired at a Fluidra workshop or at the premises of an authorized Fluidra warranty agent. 9. If it is necessary for the Purchaser to incur freight charges in making a valid claim under this warranty, Fluidra, as the case may be, will reimburse the Purchaser for charges reasonably incurred upon proof of the charges.
