Installing Your HomeLink Phoneline
Wireless Card Drivers for Windows XP
1. Start your Windows XP PC.
2.
Click Start, then Control Panel.
Performance and Maintenance icon.
3.
Double-click on the System icon. Select the Hardware item.
4.
Click Device Manager, then Network Adapters. Right-click on
the AMD PCnet-Home Based Network Adapter (Generic)
item. Click Properties.
5.
Click the Driver tab. Click
Update Driver.

The
Welcome

Hardware Update Wizard dia-
log box will appear. Select the
Install from a list or specific
location radio button. Click
Next.

This sheet will guide you through the basic steps needed to install the
HomeLink Phoneline Network Card onto your network. If you have any
problems during installation, refer to the Troubleshooting section of the
User Guide.
7.
Select the "Don't search, I will choose the driver to install"
radio button.
Click
Next.
8.
The Select Network Adapter dialog box will appear. Click Next
to install the built-in driver.
9.
The Completing the Hardware Update Wizard dialog box will
appear.
The AMD PCnet-Home Based Network Adapter
(Generic) will be shown
as installed.
Click
Finish.
The installation is complete. For information on using your
PC with your network, refer to your User Guide.
