Before taking the tool into use make sure of the following:
1–
Check that voltage given on the nameplate is the same as the source of current.
2–
Before heating up make sure the bit is proberly in position. The clamp screw
must be tight.
3–
Connect to apptropriate mains current.
4–
The bit can only be removed when the soldering iron is switched off and without
using force. Bit to inserted till stop.
5–
Do not heat up soldering iron without bit.
6–
After use let the soldering irn cool down in the air (do not cool of in water)
7–
After use pute the iron only down on a holder.
8–
The cable of the soldering irons is a special high qualità cable. It is resistant
against short- time contacts with hot metal parts. In case of damage the cable can
not be exchanged due to the special constructions of the soldering iron. The iron
can then no longer ne used accordino to the safety presciptions.
ATTENZIONE
1–
Use soldering stand and other aid to avoid burns.
2–
Check that the soldering tip is fitted tightly into place before switching
on. The soldering tip must be pushed in fully (in the heating unit) and
fastened tightly with the camping screw
3–
After finish the works, cool the soldering iron down naturally.
HOw TO sOLdER
1–
Clean dirt, rust or paint on the part to be soldered.
2–
Heat the part by the soldering iron.
3–
To be sure that the soldering tin has been cooled down before it is moved from
the soldered part.
4–
Melt the resin-based solder by touching it against the part.
Note: If using non-resin-based solder, you should coat some solder paste against the
part before soldering.
CAUTION
1–
Maintain the heated soldering iron carefully, The high temperature iron will cause
fires or painful burn to the body.
2–
When you use the soldering iron for the first time, there will be some slightly
smoke coming out. It is normal and will last for about 10 minutes because the
heat element is being dried.
3–
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with redu-
ced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowled-
ge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
4–
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
5–
Never file the plated tip.
6–
This tool must be placed on its stand when not in use.
7–
Check whether the voltage, current comply with the regulation of technical para-
meters when connecting the power.
8–
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacture, its service
agent or similar qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard
