Housegard NOTE DC324NX - Smart Door/Window Contact Manual

INTRODUCTION

We recommend that you take your time to read this user manual in order to fully understand all the features.

The door/window contact is a magnetic sensor that detects if a door or a window is open. If the hub notice that a door or window is opened or closed, the hub will push a message directly to your smart phone.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Installation location:

• If installed on a door, the mainframe is usually mounted on the door frame.
• If installed on a window, the mainframe is usually mounted on the windows frame.
• The distance between the mainframe and the magnet should be max 7 mm after the installation.
• The door/window contact is suitable when the door/window and the door/window frame are at the same level.

REPLACE THE BATTERY

1. Slide the plate on which the sticker label is mounted to one side.
   Then remove the battery cover.
   
   
2. Remove the battery and enter the new.
   
   
3. Close the battery cover.
   
   

OPERATION INSTRUCTION

Before first use, remove the battery insulation film as shown below.

ADD DEVICE TO HOUSEGARD NOTE SYSTEM

You need the Housegard Note Hubb GW124NX and Housegard Note app to connect it to the system.

• Step 1: Select "Device" from the menu in your app.
• Step 2: Click the "add" / "+" sign in the upper right corner. At this point, the LED on the actual hub should flash green.
• Step 3: Press the button rapidly 3 times (within 2 seconds) on the device that you would like to connect.
• Step 4: A dialog box appears in the app. Name your device (optional).

WARRANTY

DC324NX comes with a 5-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.(Valid from date of purchase.) The batteries are not covered by the warranty. Liability under the warranty is limited to the value of an equivalent sensor. Defective sensors should be returned to the retailer, along with a description of the problem. If the claim is approved, the faulty goods will be replaced with a new door/window sensor of the same or an equivalent type. Any claim must be accompanied by a receipt confirming the date of purchase.
