  • Page 5 User Guide Out-of-the-box Installation Take the ioPower out of the box and begin installation…. Step 1. Connect the ioPower to the power outlet via its power chord. Step 2. Connect a host PC serial port to the serial port on the ioPower backpanel, using a serial (RS-232) cable, then power on the host PC.
