NTENDED The Weighing Terminal EWI / MWI exclusively serves to display the weight in combination with suitable load cells. The load cells are intended for use as "non-automatic weighing instruments".
The BOSCHE company offers a restricted warranty for components, which became faulty due to strain or material faults. The warranty starts with the date of delivery. The BOSCHE company retains the right to repair or replace components. Repair work executed during the warranty period will not extend the period of warranty.

3 | Transport, Installation, Connection Weighing Terminal EWI / MWI YSTEM ONFIGURATION In weighing systems, one or more load cells are connected for evaluating the measuring signal. Several load cells of a scale are connected in parallel in a junction box to deliver a common output signal.
NTERFACE 3.6.1 RS485 The weighing terminals of the EWI / MWI series offer different options to connect load cells / weighing platforms (weighing bridges) to the transmitter. Basically: • Has the weighing terminal on the back one or more 5-pin plugs, these are used to connect 4-wire or 6 wire load cells.

The signal light shown in some pictures can be integrated as an option. The standard version of this weighing terminal does not have a signal light.
