- Page 4 Description The Link-400 device allows the user to connect a P400 personal gas monitor to communicate with a PC using a USB port. The user can then run the SmartLink software to download logs for easy viewing and saving. Furthermore, the Link-400 can recharge P400 instruments that are equipped with the NiMH battery packs.
- Page 5 Features CRADLE CHARGING PINS COMMUNICATION PIN STATUS INDICATORS USB PORT Connection The Link-400 requires one USB cable (type A-male to type B-male) for both power and communication.
- Page 6 LED Charging Status Indications The green and red LEDs indicate the status of the Link-400. Refer to the table below: Green LED Red LED Status Power on. No P400 (with NiMH pack) connected. Fast Blink P400 with NiMH battery pack is being fast charged.
- Page 7 Link-400 will indicate a trickle charge until the pack returns to an acceptable temperature. Power Supply The Link-400 requires a 5V input voltage at a rated current of at least 1000mA or can be powered from the computers USB port. NiMH Battery Recharging When powered from a USB port on a PC, the charge current is reduced to prevent overloading the PC.
- Page 8 Warranty Your Sensit Link-400 is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years after purchase.
