Airflow range setting

■ Take the air-conditioner location into account and adjust the left/right airflow range to maximize air-conditioning.
Air-conditioner installation location and airflow range
The diagram below indicates the airflow ranges corresponding to the air-conditioner's installation location. Consider your room's layout
and set the airflow range to maximize air-conditioning.

NOTE
Once the airflow range setting is configured, it is stored in the air-conditioner even if the power source is turned off. To change the
airflow range setting, set range again with the remote control.
During the operation, an airflow range setting cannot be set.
When the air-conditioner is installed at the location within 50 cm from the wall, it is recommended to change the airflow range setting
to "Right End Installation" or "Left End Installation".

If the air-conditioner is running, press the ON/OFF
button to stop.
The airflow range setting cannot be made while the unit is running.

Press the AIRFLOW U/D (UP/DOWN) button and the
AIRFLOW L/R (LEFT/RIGHT) button together for
5 seconds or more.
The airflow range setting display illuminates.

Setting the airflow range.
Press the AIRFLOW L/R (LEFT/RIGHT) button and adjust to the desired
location.
Each time the AIRFLOW L/R (LEFT/RIGHT) button is pressed, the display is
switched in the order of:
(Center Installation)

Press the ON/OFF button.
The air-conditioner's airflow range is set.
Press within 60 seconds of setting the airflow range (while the airflow range
setting display illuminates).
