Explanation of hard disk capacity Dear user, While using your computer, you may find that the nominal hard disk capacity indicated is somewhat different from the disk capacity displayed by the operating system. For example, a nominal 40GB hard disk will appear as less than 40GB in the operating system. OneKey Rescue System Introduction The Lenovo OneKey Rescue System is an easy-to-use application that can be used to back up the data on your system partition (C drive) for easy restore when required. You can run Lenovo OneKey Rescue under a Windows operating system, and the OneKey Rescue System without starting the Windows operating system.
After the recovery discs are burned, please number them so that you can use them in the correct order. For computers without an optical drive, an external optical drive is needed to • back up or to create a recovery disc. For more instructions, see the help file of Lenovo OneKey Recovery.
Windows system and data. Pressing the OneKey Rescue System key will activate Lenovo OneKey Rescue System when your PC is turned off. Within the program, you can restore your system partition to the original factory status, or to a previously generated backup. You may also transfer critical data or documents to other storage devices.

If you can start the backup feature without a problem, but it fails during the backup process, please try the following steps: Close other applications, then restart the backup process. Check if the destination media is damaged, try to select another path and then try again.

Appendix B. Use and care information Cleaning the cover of your computer Occasionally clean your computer as follows: Prepare a mixture of a gentle kitchen-use detergent (one that does not contain abrasive powder or strong chemicals such as acid or alkaline). Use 5 parts water to 1 part detergent.
Cleaning your computer keyboard Absorb some isopropyl rubbing alcohol on a soft, dust-free cloth. Wipe each keytop surface with the cloth. Wipe the keys one by one; if you wipe several keys at a time, the cloth may hook onto an adjacent key and possibly damage it.
Appendix B. Use and care information Cleaning your computer display Gently wipe the display with a dry, soft lint-free cloth. If you see a scratchlike mark on your display, it might be a stain transferred from the keyboard when the cover was pressed from the outside. Wipe or dust the stain gently with a soft, dry cloth.
