Refrigerator Latch
®
Dreambaby Refrigerator Latch helps prevent children from opening
fridges or freezers. May also suit other household appliances
(which do not generate heat).
To Install:
1. Locate position to apply Latch, above reach of child.
2. Thoroughly clean and dry surfaces.
3. Remove backing paper from small catch piece, and press firmly
onto door section (A).
4. With the door closed, position the latch so that the pieces will lock
together, with a gap of 0.1in (2mm) between them. Mark the position (B).
5. Remove backing paper from latch and press it firmly onto the
side of appliance.
6. As with all self adhesive products, strong adhesion is achieved by
allowing adhesive to set for several hours. If possible, install in the
evening to allow adhesive to set overnight.
To Use: To open, lift latch clear of catch, and open fridge door (C).
Locks automatically when door is closed.
To Remove Product: Use rubber cement solvent, eucalyptus oil, or similar
type of product. Keep remover out of the reach of children.
To Relocate Product: Replace adhesive tape with 'strong' double sided tape.
Caution: There is no substitute for proper adult supervision.
This product is only a deterrent. Discontinue use when child is able to open it.
Warning: This Latch is not to be used with appliances which generate heat.
Do not use this product on oiled surfaces, as the adhesive will not stick.
