• If ever some ethanol spread on the reservoir, wipe it completely with a cloth or an absorbing paper
before starting the fire.
• Check that no ethanol trace remains outside of the tank before ignition.
You must close the tank trapdoor if you want to ignite your device.
For security reasons an electronic system will check it and lock the trap door before ignition. If the
trapdoor is not close the device will not start (E08 message on the display)

7. INSTRUCTION OF USE:

a) Buttons and LCD Display:

Button 1: Trapdoor control
Button 2: Switch ON / OFF
b) Ignition
Ignite the device with the switch ON/OFF or the remote control. For safety reasons PRESS THE
BUTTON ON THE TOP PLATE FOR 5 SECONDS (it is not necessary with the remote control, keep it
away from children)
After a few seconds an automatic ignition will take place. If the first ignition is failed, there will be a
second one. If there is no ignition, please consult the "Error Message" on LED screen and read the
paragraph "Error Message".
c) Extinction:
Shut the device with the switch ON/OFF or press on the remote control only, the pump will stop. Wait
for the flames to die completely before leaving the fireplace unattended.
For security reasons, it is not possible to re-ignite the device after its extinction. The temperature of the
burner must decrease under 60°C; 140°F before restarting. Please wait a few minutes.
