    This manual is intended for qualified solar designers and installers to assist in the correct installation, operation and maintenance of WINAICO’s WSP and WST series solar panels. WINAICO solar panels should only be installed by qualified professionals authorised to carry out such work by their relevant local jurisdiction. Unqualified people should be kept a safe distance away.

     Orientation The performance of WINAICO Panels is dependent on the available solar resource, as well as their positioning in relation to the movement of the sun. Optimal panel tilting will be determined by the installation location, local siting restriction, and the load profile or desired generation profile. Your local WINAICO office can assist with optimum system design.

    The solar installation should be mounted such that as little snow as possible can remain on the modules. Solar modules from WINAICO are certified for snow loads up to 5400 Pa.

    6.1 Mechanical module mounting WINAICO modules are suitable for both vertical and horizontal installation methods due to their high degree of stability. The modules must be clamped in place at a minimum of 4 points. Examples of correct mounting methods: clamps and mounting with screws.

    Connectors of different brands and models cannot be mated. ATTENTION: WINAICO connectors’ protection level is IP68. They cannot be under water for a long time. Sunlight exposure and immersion in water of the connectors should be avoided. Do not allow installed PV connectors and cables to be in contact with the roof surface or the ground.

    Please observe the national standards when grounding. If national standards do not require grounding, WINAICO still recommends all PV module frames to be grounded to ensure the voltage between the exposed metal parts (ex. frame) and earth ground is zero in all circumstances.
