Before beginning the cutting operations, familiarize yourself with the machine in a space free of obstacles and in the absence of outsiders.
  • Page 10 Always use the machine at he recommended PTO speed. Never exceed the recommended speed (540 or 1000 rpm). Take great care in cutting in the vicinity of mobile objects. They must be removed or avoided in order to avoid risk of them being thrown up. The rotating parts of the machine have been subjected to laboratory trials, despite this the parts may be effected by impact with highly resistant objects or those launched a long way at a high speed.
  • Page 11 The use of permanent anti-noise protection is compulsory as the noise level at the driver’s seat may exceed 80 dB for long periods. A noise level exceeding 80 dB may over a long period result in the progressive loss of hearing, and may even cause definitive and irreparable loss of hearing.
  • Page 12 Always select the rotor stop position, before removing the PTO shaft from a tractor with a completely independent PTO. Undertake a daily check on the nuts, bolts, hoses and other fixture system, to make sure that there are no defects, loosening or breakage that may jeopardize the machine safety.
